Advocate: Michael Warrener has over 15 consecutive years of experience in the implantable radioactive microspheres space in treatment of liver cancer, joining Sirtex Medical in 2002 and in the treatment of pancreas cancer with Oncosil Medical. His responsibilities have been focused on the commercialisation of these innovative therapies and include 5 years with Sirtology where he focused on product design development, quality management, regulatory and design dossier submissions for CE Marking in the European Union. Mr Warrener moved from Sirtex Sydney to Bonn, Germany in 2003 as the European director of sales and marketing to establish the EU market, as well as Scandanavian countries and a number of middle eastern countries.

Daniel Bucki-Smith is a nuclear medicine professional with over 25 years of experience, including a signifcant tenure as Chief Nuclear Medicine Scientist at Barwon Health's University Hospital Geelong. Currently, he serves as the Head of Strategic Development at Global Medical Solutions Australia (GMSA), where he oversees key strategic projects, manages resources, and liaises with planning authorities to ensure project success. Previously, as Operations Manager at GMSA’s Tullamarine Radiopharmacy, Daniel managed the centralised production and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals across multiple states, ensuring compliance and quality while training and mentoring staff. His leadership extends beyond his professional roles; he has served as President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) and held various board positions, including the ANZSNM Accreditation Board. An experienced educator, Daniel has been involved in training nuclear medicine students and interns and has presented at numerous scientific meetings and conferences. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations from RMIT and has completed postgraduate courses in CT for Nuclear Medicine Technologists as well as a Harvard Manage Mentor leadership course. His commitment to the field is reflected in his extensive research contributions, and also participation in community activities, including volunteering with the Victorian State Emergency Service and Cycling Without Age.

Nic has over 25 years’ experience in the Healthcare space. Starting his career clinically in Nuclear Medicine, then moving into the commercial health environment. During his time with several multinationals, he was able to gain valuable expertise in various fields, such as medical imaging, orthopaedics/surgery, infection control, ICU, trauma and digital health. Nic was able to gain a real proficiency in commercialising new opportunities and developing their potential. In the past few years he has successfully helped companies fund, enter and grow in the healthcare space.

George has more than 30 years in the healthcare industry and is Director and Partner in Lucid Health Consulting, a leading player in expert advice across health economics, pricing and reimbursement, market access and regulatory affairs. The team has delivered key projects in Australia, NZ, Asia Pacific and globally with an exceptional reputation and is a trusted partner of leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

Samantha McSherry brings over 16 years of experience in the medical industry, including eight years specializing in Nuclear Medicine and launching a first-in-class theranostic therapy. She has held senior commercial roles at Novartis and Telix Pharmaceuticals, successfully bringing multiple theranostic products to market in both Australia and the United States.

Charlie has over 30 years of experience in Healthcare starting in the NHS before moving into the pharmaceutical industry in the late 90s. He has a significant commercial tenure within the industry in the UK, APAC and Australia with commercial experience in Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. He was involved in removing access barriers within the reimbursement sector enabling a dual mechanism through which Radiopharmaceuticals can be assessed (MSAC & PBAC). As the CEO of the consulting firm Rock8 Science, Charlie has deep industry connections and experience helping clients grow their business.
