We Are Advancing Theranostics
As theranostics continues to transform the way some diseases are diagnosed and treated, there is a growing need for trusted information, meaningful dialogue and stronger connections between patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, industry and policymakers.
Our role is to help bring these groups together.
Through education, advocacy and collaboration, we aim to support a more informed and connected theranostics community while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of this important field.

Why We Exist
Theranostics represents one of the most significant developments in precision medicine, combining advanced diagnostic imaging with targeted radionuclide therapies to support more personalised approaches to patient care.
While scientific and clinical progress continues to accelerate, awareness and understanding of theranostics often lags behind. Many patients are unfamiliar with the term. Healthcare professionals may have varying levels of exposure depending on their area of practice. Access to information, education and treatment pathways can differ significantly between communities and healthcare settings.
Oncothera Advocacy was established to help address these challenges.
We believe that patients, clinicians and healthcare stakeholders should have access to clear, balanced and evidence-informed information about theranostics and its role in modern healthcare.

WE ARE ON A MISSION
Our Vision for the (Near) Future
"To make more theranostic treatments more accessible to more patients."

A future where every person who may benefit from theranostics has access to trusted information, informed decision-making and equitable treatment opportunities.
We envision a healthcare landscape where awareness is stronger, collaboration is deeper and the potential of theranostics can be realised for the benefit of patients and communities.
Our Approach
Oncothera Advocacy is committed to being a trusted and independent contributor to the theranostics landscape.
We aim to provide balanced information, encourage constructive discussion and support collaboration across a diverse range of stakeholders. Our focus is on advancing awareness, education and understanding while helping to foster a healthcare environment where innovation can translate into meaningful patient benefit.
By bringing together different perspectives and experiences, we believe we can contribute to a stronger and more connected future for theranostics.
Working Together
Progress in theranostics depends on collaboration.
Researchers, clinicians, healthcare organisations, industry partners, patient advocacy groups and policymakers all play an important role in shaping the future of patient care.
Oncothera Advocacy works alongside these stakeholders to support initiatives that promote education, awareness, access and innovation. Through partnerships, events, resources and community engagement, we seek to create opportunities for shared learning and collective impact.
A Patient-Centric Approach to Theranostics
The key to achieving this vision is ensuring that all stakeholders—including patients, healthcare providers, regulators, suppliers, and researchers—are engaged in meaningful discussions. We act as the glue that binds these different parties together, promoting innovation, regulatory progress, and access to more diverse therapies.
Through these efforts, we aim to make theranostics more accessible to a wider patient population. Read more.
Advocates for powerful connections
The Oncothera Advocacy logo, featuring three interconnected human shapes, symbolises unity, support, and solidarity within the cancer community. The figures represent the collaborative effort required to address the multi-faceted challenges of cancer advocacy. The modern design reflects the professional nature of advocacy work, the blue colour is a strong link to prostate cancer, while the use of three figures signifies the holistic approach needed to support patients emotionally, physically, and mentally through their cancer journey. Ultimately, the logo embodies Oncothera Advocacy's vision to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams by connecting government, pharma and patient organisations.
