Radiant Creations: The Art of Isotope Manufacturing

In Australia theranostic products are currently manufactured two ways:

1. Hospital manufacture - isotopes are imported from ANSTO or overseas suppliers and the radiochemistry work is done within the hospital nuclear medicine department.
   

2. Commercial manufacture - In Australia ANSTO is the major supplier of finished GMP products whereby the final sterilised product is shipped to the hospital.
